This is our most recent project and has been our biggest soffer since we started. According to our research, we discovered that the number of maternal mortality rates was high in Uganda and one of the reasons is because the pregnant mothers lacked the necessary materials to enable them have successful births and we identified this health center whose maternal section was also faced with a number of challenges such as inadequate space for the pregnant mothers to wait before they can be worked on, some labour wards lacked birth room lights which enable the mid wives to have a clear view of what transpires as well as building structural problems. Together with the partnership of Concept Berlin a non-profit GmbH in Germany, we were able to raise over 1000 Euros, this money was gotten through the fundraising activities that happened in the institution such baking of cakes, biscuits and selling them, massage offers etc that enabled us to supply essentials items for birth like Mama Kits, Diapers, Birth room Lights etc as well as funding the infrastructure development of the hospital by purchasing gutters that are necessary for proper drainage.
